I started my diverse language journey at the age of 5.

Looking back, I was very lucky to have had such a bilingual and multicultural upbringing.

I think that’s why my lifelong love of travel, languages and the history of other cultures has stuck with me for so many years. I suppose it makes me who I am today.

And it’s probably what drives me to stay in my current journey.

But I think it was during my 30-year career in language education and then publishing, when I discovered that language learning success has little to do with performance.

It’s largely defined by self-perception, or where you think you are socially on that journey

In other words, we only communicate successfully when we feel included in the conversation.

That’s why at Speech Pilot we believe:
